Dear Parents,

Thank you to all the families who joined us for our recent Digital Skills Workshop - Navigate School Platforms like a Pro! Your presence, engagement, and eagerness to learn are what make these workshops so impactful.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Sackman for leading such an informative session focused on helping parents navigate the digital tools that support our students’ learning.

From Google Classroom to Teach Hub, Savvas, Myon, and i-Ready, Ms. Sackman provided step-by-step guidance on logging in, checking assignments, and supporting reading and math practice at home. She also highlighted a special reading app that corrects fluency in real time, supports multiple languages, and encourages children to record and monitor their own reading.

Throughout the session, Ms. Sackman reminded us that no question is too small and offered her continued support by making herself available for follow-up. Parents walked away more confident in navigating these platforms and more connected to their children's educational journey.

We’d also like to give a special thank you to Ms. Cepeda, who jumped in to lead a last-minute in-person session! She walked families through how to access and navigate their child’s iPad, explaining the layout of apps and folders, and highlighting the simplicity and accessibility of iPads over phones. She also began guiding parents through using Google Cloud for storing and organizing schoolwork.

Thanks to your participation and the dedication of our teachers, these workshops continue to build strong family-school partnerships that empower learning at home and in the classroom.
